The temporary disruption caused by the power blackout has been resolved

Further to EmIS 106/2025 (below), the designated operator of Czechia, Česká pošta, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that the temporary disruption caused by the power blackout has been resolved.

All IT systems are now fully operational, and EDI transmissions and customer service activities for letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items have resumed.

Česká pošta thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding and support during the blackout.

Power blackout (EmIS 106/2025 of 04.07.2025)

The designated operator of Czechia, Česká pošta, wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to an unforeseen power blackout currently affecting the entire country, all IT systems are down. As a result, EDI transmissions and customer service activities for letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items are temporarily interrupted.

Česká pošta is monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations as soon as possible.

Česká pošta apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will provide an update via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
