Further to EmIS 235/2025 (below), the designated operator of Cyprus, the Department of Postal Services (Cyprus Post), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, following the cyberattack attempt, the processing and delivery of inbound mail (letter post, parcel post and EMS) subject to customs control has fully resumed.

The designated operator of Cyprus, the Department of Postal Services (Cyprus Post), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to an attempted cyberattack last week relating to the system that handles items subject to customs examination, delays are to be expected in the processing and delivery of inbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items).
