New year, new EMS strategy

2026 marks the start of the EMS Cooperative Strategic Plan for 2026–2029, EMS Vision 2029. The new strategy was developed through extensive consultation with all EMS Cooperative members, and its final version was approved by consensus, reflecting a shared vision for the future. 

It’s now time for members to act to meet the EMS Vision 2029: an international postal express service defined by speed, reliability, visibility, customer focus, and value for money. Despite facing challenges, EMS Cooperative members have shown resilience and commitment to improvement. Enhancing service quality and network remains a top priority for the EMS Cooperative. 

Central to the EMS Cooperative’s mission is fostering collaboration among members as the foundation for sustainable business growth. EMS Vision 2029 sets out the key performance indicators required from all members to meet customer needs. To drive excellence, the EMS Cooperative will continue to measure performance and promote best practices through initiatives such as the annual EMS Awards, which recognize members for outstanding service quality and customer care.

The global growth in e-commerce offers a significant opportunity for EMS operators, and the new strategy sets out a clear roadmap for growing EMS. By working together, EMS Cooperative members have shown they can achieve the shared goal of positioning EMS as a global postal network that delivers trusted cross-border express services to individuals and businesses.
