Members from Asia-Pacific were first to benefit from new regional training on EMS Pay-for-performance which took place in Bangkok in September.
Since its introduction Pay-for-performance has helped improve EMS performance for customers and is directly correlated to EMS volume growth. The workshop was a success, attracting participants from 12 Asia-Pacific EMS operators interested in EMSEVT V3 and imminent changes to EMS Pay-for-performance accounting.
There was a high level of engagement during the group exercises and the 28 participants came away from the event with a better understanding of how successful implementation of EMSEVT V3 impacts results in EMS Pay-for-performance for 2018.
Special thanks to Thailand Post for hosting the workshop. Smorn Terthampiboon, President of Thailand Post, spoke at the welcome event and Thailand Post also organized a site visit to their EMS Inbound Processing Center.
The Bangkok workshop was an excellent introduction to this new regional EMS event. The next Pay-for-performance workshop will take place in Berne on 14-17 November and more are planned for other regions in 2018.
